Looking Towards Stack From White Rock

At last we have had some rain !

The middle of June saw some rain, not a lot but just enough to freshen the lochs and put some water back in the rivers.

It was surely needed and really was not enough but never the less it created some action and Salmon/Seatrout started to run, which helped Loch Stack and at the end of the month produced two Salmon, one of 8lb to Joe Johnson and one of 18lb to Albert McInnes.

A good number of fresh fish were seen and the outlook seems much brighter.

Brown Trout fishing has been like the curates egg; 'good in parts'

Unfortunately along with the rain came some much lower temperatures and strong winds. However 2685 Brown Trout were recorded in the fishing log with 20 over 2lb.

15 Seatrout/Finnock were caught and returned and one char.
