Thanks To The Petrie & Summers Party For This Month's Pictures

The early part of the month was wet and cold, towards the end hot and sunny.  Not enough water consistently for migratory fish to move up in any quantity.
 
The month ended up with good brown trout numbers of 1842 booked - most were released and the pick of fish were:-
 
Rob Aiken 2lb 12oz
Stuart Crooks 3lb
John Gregory 4lb 6oz
Rob. McLeod 3lb 8oz
François Musy 2lb 6oz
John Gregory 3lb 8oz
Doug Mackenzie 2lb 15oz
Baird party 2lb 3oz
 
There was a good number of very good quality plump Brown Trout between 1 and 2 lb too numerous to mention but nevertheless were a pleasure to see on the tray.
 
29 seatrout/finnock were caught and released, best 1lb 8oz.
 
1 salmon caught off Loch Stack,tide fresh complete with sea lice - a cock fish of 10lb which was returned. 
 
We now look forward to some nice warm rain to fill up the rivers and burns.(is that too much to ask?)
